Persephone's Plight - Art Print

For Persephone, I found a beautiful, albino African American model. 

I love the idea of Persephone decending to the underworld, the color leaching from her, as she world she leaves behind turns white with winter. 

Trapped against her will, isolated from those she knows, Persephone chooses to eat “the forbidden fruit.” This painting explores choice itself as a form of resistance when freedom has been taken from you, with all of the consequences that follow.

This print is printed on luminous cardstock.
